My name is Francisco Javier Alegre Sancho, but everyone knows me as Paco, the colloquial name for Francisco. I was born in Sagunto (Valencia) 58 years ago, but l live in Teruel since 1991, a small and beautiful provincial capital in Aragón, full of history and nature. My wife’s name is Ester, and we have two daughters, Ana and María… and three dogs: Athos (Toy Poodle, fourteen years old, fifteen in august), Kerchak (Spanish Waterdog, seven years old) and Porthos (Mini Poodle, one year old).
With my first agility dog, Mushu, a Spanish Waterdog, I qualified for the WAC of IFCS in Oosterhout (Netherlands 2006) but he got injured and we couldn’t participate. Later on, with Athos, we have participated in six IMCA/ PAWC, 2010 in Fraschels (CH), 2011 in Nijmegen (NL), 2013 in Gyula (HU), 2014 in Voghera (IT), 2015 in Traun (AT) and 2016 in Frydek Mystec (CZ), and two WACs of IFCS, 2013 in Gerona (ES) and 2015 in Voghera (IT). With this great and big little dog, all heart, we got a 4th individual place in Gyula and a 8th individual place in his last IMCA, in Frydek Mystec, and a Team Jumping Silver Medal, also in Gyula 2013.  Currently, I compete with Kerchak, another Spanish Waterdog (in picture), and we have participate in three IMCA/ PAWC, 2018 in Huntingdon (GB), 2019 in Godella (ES), 2022 in Voghera (IT), and three WAC of IFCS, 2018 in Bollate (IT), 2019 in Hellendoorn (NL) and 2022 in Laag Soeren (NL). And we got a Silver Medal in Team Jumping Large and Silver Medal in
Total Team Large in 2019, Spain, and a Bronze Medal in Jumping Team, a Silver Medal in Agility Team, and a Bronze Medal in Biathlon Team Intermediate in Italy, 2022.  As a judge my beginnings are in the year 2000 as a FEAEC (Spanish Federation of Agility and Canine Education) judge. After, I was recognized as IMCA/ PAWC Judge in 2003 and as IFCS and USDAA judge in 2004. Since then I have judged many national trails in Spain, a couple of International Opens, some selective tryouts in Italy, and several international and world championships as: IMCA/ PAWC 2003, Platja D’Aro, Gerona (ES), WAC IFCS 2004, Picassent, Valencia (ES), World Cynosports USDAA in 2004, Scottsdale, Arizona (US), 2006 International Open Meeting Dogs, Valencia (ES), WAC IFCS 2008, Ingelmunster (BE), World Cynosports USDAA 2008, Scottsdale, Arizona (US), World Cynosports 25th
anniversary USDAA (2012) in Commerce City, Denver, Colorado (US), 2015 La Almozara Dog Festival, Zuera, Zaragoza (ES), and 2017, WAC IFCS in Godella, Valencia (ES).   Now is the time to judge another IMCA/ PAWC, this year 2023, in Hellendoorn (NL). I love the atmosphere of this big event, and I face the challenge with great enthusiasm. I really want to judge again this Championship, and I would really like that you enjoy my courses and that you have a lot of fun during the event.
I hope it will be a great championship. Good luck to all. See you in Hellendoorn.
